The PGA of America Coaching Center powered by T-Mobile is the Association’s signature, state-of-the-art, consumer-facing golf coaching and training facility. The 12,000 square foot, two story, 10 hitting bay golf training center focuses on golf instruction, club fitting and golf fitness. It combines these elements to create a unique, high touch, high tech and data-driven experience that serves groups from beginning golfers to elite players of all ages and backgrounds.

Camp Highlights:

  • Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
  • Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
  • A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child’s well being in mind.
  • Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Advanced Half Day Camps: Join us for our half day Spring Break camps at the PGA of America Coaching Center! Our camps offer young, competitive golfers the perfect opportunity to elevate their skills under the expert instruction of PGA of America Golf Professionals. Our Coaches provide hands-on instruction and utilize state-of-the-art technology to ensure each player receives personalized coaching to refine their techniques. Whether you’re looking to improve your swing, shave a few shots off your game or simply enjoy golf in a fun and educational environment, these camps are designed to inspire and challenge aspiring golfers.

These advanced camps are designed for junior golfers who want to improve their game to a more competitive level. Stroke play, match play and other competitions are simulated each day with the end goal being overall game improvement.

Ryan Hitt, PGA - Camp Co-Director

Ryan Hitt, PGA is the PGA of America Coaching Center Lead Coach for Junior Golf Programming at PGA Frisco. This global hub and laboratory is designed to develop and foster the PGA coaching philosophy and combine coaching, club fitting and fitness elements to create a unique experience that serves beginner golfers to elite players of all ages and backgrounds.

In his eight years at the Trophy Club Country Club in Trophy Club, Texas, including his final three years as Director of Player Development, Ryan has given more than 8,500 hours of instruction. His students have more than 60 tournament victories, and 14 have played collegiate golf.

A Class A PGA Professional since 2018, Hitt has a passion for junior golf. He serves on the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Committee, devoted to improving the junior golf experience in the Northern Texas PGA Section. He was named a National Top 50 Coach by Operation 36 and was a finalist for the Randy Smith Youth Player Development Award in 2022.

Hitt played collegiate golf for Arkansas Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management. He achieved several scoring records and was a member of the Gulf South All-Conference Team. He also qualified for the U.S. Amateur Championship in 2007.

Tim Cusick, PGA - Camp Co-Director

Tim Cusick became the Head Coach of the PGA of America Coaching Center at PGA Frisco in Frisco, TX, in March 2023. He will oversee and develop, breed, and foster the coaching philosophy, as well as provide a high-tech, data-driven experience for its customers.

The Coaching Center will offer industry-leading experiences among three categories for Player Engagement: Coaching, Club Fitting, and Golf Fitness. Prior to overseeing the PGA of America Coaching Center, Tim was a member of the PGA Education Faculty. He was primarily responsible for the Teaching Coaching training and Career Track for PGA Associates and PGM University Students.

Tim served in this role from September 2020 till March 2023. Tim has over 30 years of coaching golf in the Dallas Metroplex. He arrived in 1992 at the Hank Haney Golf Ranch in McKinney, TX, where he was Hank’s Director of Instruction, a position that he held until 2005. Along the way, he also served as the Assistant Men’s Golf Coach for Southern Methodist University from 1993 to 1997.

In 2005, Tim became the Director of Instruction at the award-winning Four Seasons Golf and Resort in Las Colinas, TX, where he oversaw the Byron Nelson Golf School, a position he held for 15 years until he joined the PGA of America’s Education Faculty.

In 2014, Tim became a Quarter Century Member of the PGA of America. He achieved the status of PGA Master Professional in Teaching/Coaching in 2018, the highest accomplishment a PGA Professional can attain.
